Small situation..

I goto trade school in November. So I'm trying to solve this by then.
( apprentice wages so I can't exactly afford a auto electrician. )

My house mate removed the battery from my VS to use it. Once put back in i suddenly had no tail lights ( although I have brake lights. ), no stereo, no dash illumination and my speed alert lights up but doesn't show any numbers nor do the buttons work. Along with my rear de-mister.

Gone through my under dash fuses and found not one fuse blown.. Checked my tail light globes Aswel and there's nothing wrong. Looked on the back of my stereo and there was a blown fuse so I replaced the fuse on my actual stereo, all fixed now.

So I'm stuck with the following problems;

No tail lights
No dash lights
No speed alert
No de-mister

Sounds like a Parker fuse do you have front Parker lights?

Yeah car starts, I drive it to and from work every day.

I actually haven't checked for parkers. I will tomorrow morning.

Check all the fuses? Was the key turned when you put the battery in. My mate done that and sorta melted some wires.

EDIT. Re read the post my bad.

your house mate didn't connect battery back to front by any chance
can't see anything in common besides BCM, which I suspect has been fried

I've been talking to a electrician that gets called into work and he suggest it may have been put in backwards too.

Alright so if it was put in backwards, no other fuses or globes are blown.. I take it the wiring must be fried?
