Several question for VH SL/E

Gday Guys, I have a couple questions im hoping i can get some answers to.

Car is: 83' VH SL/E 6 cyl.

I currently have some sort of old Rhino car alarm/immobiliser in the car which works well, but the wiring is a complete mess and im looking to neaten it up. Cant find any info on it on the net and im wanting to know what colors are the original ignition switch wires in the factory loom from the switch so i can continue on.


Also what are these 2 switches?
I have a black round switch near the headlight switch which is a factory item of some sort, but does nothing when pressed.

Also two small factory buttons under the drivers side dash that both have number 15 marked on them. They also do nothing when pressed.

That bottom pic with 1 button looks like a boot release that's normally in the glove box.. The other 2 I have no idea.. My wife used to have a vh sle in blue, full exhaust and mild cam in the 202.. Bloody great car

Yeah deff looks like that, But there is a boot release button in the glovebox that works, and my dad had a sle many years ago but cant remember what the buttons are for.

Does the big button have wires go to it and have power at the wires?

The big button is your rear electric window cutoff switch. Wen pressed the rear electric window switches won't work. Kind of there so kids don't play with the rear switches pressing it up down up down etc.
The 2 with 15 on them are circuit breakers.1 is for power windows the other for central locking. Wen there is a power surge or someone holds down the electric window switches for a long time it pops 1 out stoping power going to the switch so it doesn't melt. the other will pop out if there is something wrong with your central locking.

Ahh thanks very much for that!
Funny tho, my model does not have electric windows, But only central locking. Doesn't look like it ever had electric windows in the past either.

On your vin tag, Does yours have a - with 3 numbers afta the 8VX69

Yeah i have the 3 numbers after that, Not sure what that option pack has tho.
