hello all, i have a mate who has done a manual conversion to his VX. he is running a t5 (cable as opposed to hydraulic) hes still running his VX auto PCM, its all working (occasionally stalls by itself and also traction control makes the car GUTLESS and cough), speedo bypassed the computer. what he wants to do though, is run the proper manual memcal for it.....being a vx and soldered PCM, will it be easy to swap the Vx PCM with a VT PCm, and get a custom tune memcal (as vt onwards run getrag, and this is a t5, dont know the compatability of them) for the VT PCM? we figured it would be cheaper to swap PCM with a vt as theyre interchangeable chips and also have a spare one......any ideas? we could run the proper manual VS computer, but then wed have to rewire the Loom, swap PCM etc. trying to keep it as much as we can as it is. and the vt/vx PCM is directly interchangeable with each other
