Hey guys,

Just wondering how i would go about measuring the current draw on my battery/alternator, i've done some aftermarker audio stuff ( 2 amps 4 new speakers and a twin 12 inch sub ) and was just wondering if all is well in the electrics, its been in for a week and i've had no issues, but im about to go up to the country for a while and would like my car to start when i need it to, i assume its something like a multimetre wired into the circut somewhere.

Cheers :)

Unless the alternator dies, you'll be fine. To read the current draw, easiest way would be to buy/borrow an inductive ammeter (amp clamp). This clamps around the wire without prodding, poking or disconnecting anything.
If your amps have fuses in the side, add these and you'll have your maximum current draw - if it exceeds this total you'll blow a fuse (unlikely unless you use "bass boost" or have a fault.).
