Check out www.jaycar.com.au and choose the categories "switches" and "microswitch"

Those are switches with a good range of travel so with some creative gluing, or making a bracket out of metal, you could easily position it on the throttle body so it closes on WOT.

You should also think about shielding it somehow from water and dirt or finding a water/dustproof microswitch.

Out of curiosity, what do you plan to switch with it?

If you want something a bit more reliable I'd look into either a reed switch (small currnets only) or a hall switch (needs some electronics) The advantage of this setup is that there are no exposed mechanics in the engine bay.

Fuel economy at WOT? Be honest.

you should be careful, have a safeguard in place for applications where you reach WOT before the engine reaches a safe RPM for the amount of water you are jetting into the intake. remember, the idea of the water is to pretty much atomise before it hits the combustion chamber. that is the way it reduces intake charge temperature........

ive put a microswitch in and only activates relay on WOT.

being a 5 speed I only hit WOT in 2nd and 3rd as its too much for 1st gear.
