Buzzing when using cig lighter in VE

Hello all

I have a VE 2007 model every time I use the cig lighter in the middle console is makes a buzzing sound my DVD players my iPod my iPhone all buzz thro the speakers.

Any ideas how I could fix this issue??

I am assuming the buzzing comes from the car's speakers and not the iphone ect.
Sounds like the cigarette lighter wire is run to close to the car's audio wiring.
Not knowing anything about the VE wiring layout, I'll bet Holden has wired the ciggy plug into the same loom as the audio.
When you use the ciggy plug and draw power, it's interfering with the speakers.
Try running a seperate accessory plug, well away from any audio wiring.
