i got a replacement exhaust manifold put on my car i need to use a 1 wire o2 sensor on my vn s2 motor which is 2 wire loom do i just make a earth on carbody as replacement for the loom?

Is there any reason why you can't swap the 2 wire sensor from the old manifold into the new one?

im getting code 13 and 44 before swapping over and after (the 2 wire one).

No, it's already earthed through the exhaust. You will need to verify, it's either a 1-5v reference or a 5-12v preheat. I don't know which one.

the single wire o2's as above earth through the exhaust, the thread is prone to rusting which can be a problem (probably why the single wire was replaced with 2 wire by GM)....
why do you have to use a single wire o2? they have the same thread, i've put 2 wire sensors in early vn's that had a single wire sensor removed and modded the loom/plug to suit....
