Vs berlina rear lights not working

My normal brake lights seem to work but the smaller brake lights in the boot and my reverse lights wont work I tried testing with a multimeter and theres power going to them fine with a bit of fiddling I got the reverse lights to flash on but then they go off straight away like the bulb has blown I checked the bulb its fine I tried again and it does the same thing so its not thw globe I tried all new globes and changed the fuse nothing seems to fix it its just like a drop in the current or something any help would be great as its annoying when people dont know ur reversing

Sounds like the light sockets have corrosion and not contacting try unplugging that section of harness and replacing it with another one it's a fairly common problem
