Can anyone tell me if a VT is OBD2 compliant.

I got a OBD2 scan tool from Ebay, pluged it in, all was good, then it said it could not link.

Am I doing something wrong, any help please.

Cheers, Wayne.

Like what delcowiz said, the Vt uses an obd2 connector but is not obd2 compliant. Therefore an obd2 cable won't work. All v6 until 2004 Vy with that connector use the Aldl interface. It's not software related, the cable just won't work on Vt's. That said any car made after Jan 2006 is obd2 compliant and that cable you have will work
