VS Statesman cluster to VP Calais

Hi, Im new so sorry if this question has been asked. Im told that you cant just fit a vs cluster to a vp without things blowing up. Does anyone know for certain what mods I need to do to make this a safe and fun thing? Both cars run the level 3 dash cluster, I dont want to do anything different, I need to use this cluster in this situation, so who can point me in the right direction?

If you really need to use the incompatible cluster all you have to do is re-wire the plugs behind the dash
