i have a VP exec and like most people i want to put a level 3 cluster in, is it possible to just replace the harness for the cluster and switch block (for the trip computer) as i've heard that the interior light stops working once you have locked the car (locking from the remote) and i rather it stay on those moments after i lock it.
and if this is possible is as simple as unplug and plug in for both the cluster and switch block
any help would be appreciated

The VP is just as little more involved than most to do the L3 upgrade. A modified VP switchblock is needed with VN Calais bits in it. The patch loom includes an extra plug to pass the interior light delay through the VP PCB removed from the VP switchblock. I'm made about 14 VP L3 upgrade kits over the years (about 140 VR/VS) and take a little to graft into the main dash loom in the VP. But it's only really an extra half hour work to make it all good.

no you need both vn and vp switchblocks. 88greenvn does the kit contact him via pm if youre interested. I suggest you buy the kit as thats the hard part of the job wiring them in is the easier part
