Seen em, because of their weight and only supported at the rear they have a tendency to bounce... which results in your light boucning.

As Tas says^^.
IMO, you are better off buying a complete pair of good quality projector head lights.
Then you will know that they will fit properly.

What would you recommend?

While i'm at it, are the VY Calais/HSV head lamps the same globe type as the VZ SS ones? I ask because I know the globe types for my cousins vz ssz and we did those for a pretty good price.

H11 - Low Beam
H9 - High Beam

I have this H4-2 atm. I've bypassed the halogen because I don't like the factory colour. I was wondering if it was possible to change the globe to a white or led one?

No halogen can't be swapped... throw them out mate! seriously, get some dual beam HIDs if your insistent... I run them in my VT 55W dual beam HID and 100W HID in my highs.
