I recently bought a VR Commodore which has a lot of aftermarket mods that were done by a previous owner (very sloppily)
One of them is the power window setup (which is slow and often needs manual help)
First mod I have made myself was changing the standard centre console to a Calais one; problem is I don't have the entire wiring setup for Holden power windows.
Can I just attach the Calais window switches to the current, aftermarket setup? Or will I have to get all new wires?... or even replace the whole power window system with the proper, Holden window setup?
P.S. I have no idea where any of my mods came from and neither does the previous owner
The aftermarket setup seems to work by cranking the handle mechanically from just under the doorskin.
