Ve commodore
Hi all
Need help with ve commodores.
started normally and drove for a while ran great
Then stopped for half hour and went to start it, it started but was running rough and losing power and there was alittle bit of shuddering check engine light came on.
Turn it off and on a couple of times on the third go it started normal
But engine light stays on, has anyone else had this problem?
It's a 2009 my10 ve omega it's just had its 90,000 km service aswell

Cheers
Shanossy

VE's don't like low battery voltage - make sure the battery voltage is above 12 volts with the engine off, and around 14 volts with the engine running. Check engine light can come on because of low battery voltage which stuffs up the sensor signals to the ECU. Any battery older than three years is well past its prime.
