My car (VT Berlina S2) recently started getting problems to start, I assumed it may have been a flat battery in the key head, because when I pressed the buttons I got no response from the car to lock/unlock or the boot... So I changed the battery on the key head and automatically got a response from all the key head buttons, and the car started straight away.

Car was going fine for few days, then the exact same thing began to happen again, car wouldn't start nor will I get a response from the key head. Key will not open and lock door manually either.

Any help will be much appreciated.

See if it works when you hold the remote close the centre of the windscreen.
The key should still unlock the door, it just requires a fair bit of force to turn the key.

Yeah it seems to need a little jimmying with the key...

Do you think it's possible the BCM is playing up??

Would a scan tool help me determine the issues??

Changing the key head over for a new one instead of being a tight ass mite also help.. The remotes were never meant to be serviceable.
