Cd player not working, brake lights stuck on, vb commodore.

Hey guys, I have a vb commodore with an injected 5.0l clubby motor. For some reason my brake lights stay on all the time and the cd player doesn't work, only sometimes the light will come on the cd player randomly but thats it. When I take the fuse out for the brake lights the cd player stops working all together. So these 2 little problems are doing my head in! Any idea's guys?

Who wired up the CD player?
Has it always been like that?
Have a look at the brake light switch and make sure it's OK and that no one has tapped into that circuit for power to the CD player.
