Hi all.
Just wondering if the VX Cruise Control/Indicator Stalk will work/fit in a Series 1 VT?
I assume the mounting would be the same, but will the electrics, as in the plugs be compatible?

All the print is rubbing off on my one and it looks crap. The VX stalk looks better imo and is much easier to use (for an 'ol fella).

Any help much appreciated.

Going through the repair module mate the VT and VX are demonstrated in the same wiring diagrams for both the indicator, high beams and cruise control functions. According to the wiring diagrams there is no change between the two for the cruise control, and I would assume the wiring for the indicators and high beams would be the same. There is 3 wires for the cruise control function, On/off reset/accelerate and set/cruise. Colours are as follows:

On/Off Switch: Grey/Green

Reset/Accelerate: Grey/Black

Set/Cruise Blue

Hope that helped mate, can upload a few photos of wiring diagrams if you like

Thank you for the reply.
That helped a lot.
The diagrams would be great if you could, thanks. Just when you have a spare moment.
I thought I had some, but can't seem to find them.

No worries, I think the best option would be to take both and have a good look at them, I'm sure the plug would be the same along with the wiring.

Sorry for the **** quality, can upload a scan of the pages tomorrow if needed. Hope that helps mate
