Hey guys I'm chasing an id this sunroof? It says gm so I assume it's genuine?

I'm after the info so I can get a wiring diagram.. so if anyone can id and supply I'd love it!

It does has three but I have a hacked up loom that has a 6 pin switch for it?? I'm assuming at some times there is a combo of them bring used?

yeah 6 pin is 3 position. you gotta reverse the polarity of the motor for it to change direction. so for arguments sake ill use green and brown (random colours)

pin 1 brown
pin 2 green
pin 3 +
pin 4 -
pin 5 green
pin 6 brown

so the green and brown get switched over. flick the switch one way it sends + to green - to brown, flick it the other way its reversed. the neutral setting is off

but you have 3 wires...


so yeah i just fked my own theory....

ok, so one of the wires will be a 1. neutral, 2. + is forwards, and 3. + is backwards...

some electrical guys will flip out at this but:

strip the end of the wire, seperate 1 strand of copper and stick them on your battery. if you get a HUGE flash and the copper melts, its dead short. if its only a small flash and the motor moves a bit before melting the copper, then you have your 2 wires :D
