Ok so today my ground and power wires where pulled out of my amp so I hooked them back up I had the head unit out cause throught the remote wire had came out of its connector, I noticed when putting the head unit in was making these werid noise coming from the sub as if it was on didn't take much notice, I looked today/night and the green light was on I discounted the remote wire and the log still stays green as if it's got power? Would it be possible maybe some bits of the power wire are touching the remotes termal making the wire hot there for letting the amp run still? The wires are just clamp down bare really on the amp side of things

It's possible, if you haven't used the ring type crimp terminals on the wiring to the amp, that a strand or two from the positive feed to the amp is touching the remote terminal.

Disconnect the remote wire and see if it turns off.
Also, check to see if there is voltage on the remote wire when the ignition is turned off.

Disconnect ALL wires to the amp and use the ring type crimp terminals.
This should have been done in the first place.

Yeah I took the remote off from the head unit still has power I don't Acutally have a volt meter, but no there are no ring terminals on my wires atm. So I'm lead to believe that the positive is touching the remote.

The remote relay inside the amp may also be sticking on.

No relays for power on. Solid state switching.

OP, what amp is it? Some amps have power sensing circuits that don't like some cars and consequently stay running at all times.

It's about a $5 expense for proper terminals,
Always worth the money!

Only if you can crimp or solder them properly... other wise stripping a bit back and clamping the bare copper is a better scenario.
