We have had our VX for several years and the lighter has never worked so I'm finally getting this corrected but I need some help with the wiring.
The lighter doesn't work although there is power to the connector so today I bought a new universal lighter which amazingly is a perfect fit but I'm not sure about the wiring.
The first picture is the new universal lighter and I'm thinking the center connector is the positive wire and the side connector is the earth, is this correct.
The second picture is the original lighter and I'm thinking the black wire is the earth and the brown wire is the positive wire, can anyone confirm that this is correct.
