Hey guys had a thread already but seems to have gone missing. Anyway, I have a VP 3.8 in my hilux and I am having a few minor issues with the ignition wiring. I have run the wires from the start relay (grey blue trace) and the purple one to the ignition button (push button with rocker switches for ON and ACC) which then runs to 12V so it supplies the purple wire with power but the car doesnt seem to want to crank. When I connect the started and the violet with white trace wires it doesnt want to crank when I push the button. There is another purple/white wire coming from the LP chek relay also, Does this have anything to do with it? Another question is about the brake fail switch, I dont have one so can i just delete these wires? Cheers.
