VY Dash and LS1 custom install, wiring advice needed

hi all,

I hope i have posted this in the right section.

I have fitted a VY firewall along with the complete dash including the heater box and LS1 engine to 1985 trans am.

I am using the VY chassis wiring loom along with the fuse box, relay box, PIM, BCM and ECU.

not using traction control.

I am currently hunting down a Ls1 wiring loom.

Hoping someone can help me with a few questions:

1. are the LS1 wiring looms all the same from VT11 to VY?
2. is the throttle control controller needed for cable accelerator?
3. is there anything else i should be considering?

Hey mate I would get a the full vy wiring out of a ls1 and install it
As u will need
Fuel pump v8
And a v8 bcm ecu key head all linking
And make sure it's out of a vy ss or u run into trouble with climate control


U will need to get ur air con re-gass to

And is the heater box out of a vy ss or a normal vy with out cilmate control
