How do I make my vr hold first

Hey how's it going guys. I am building a vr for skids. I'd like it to hold first and second. I know you can solder it but I'm not sure what to solder. Is there an easier way? Please point me in the right direction.

Just put the gear selector in first (1) or second (2).

It needs to be altered in the tune as it's basically and anti-abuse function/engine saver to prevent over-revving.
