Thankyou

If it's the same as most aerials there is a plastic track inside the aerial that is attached at the tip. The motor simply spins the track up or down. If it snaps at the top it will push the aerial up but won't pull it down. Does it try to pull in back down? Eg when you push the aerial down does the motor kick in?

It is fixable I think however for the trouble it might be easier to buy a used one.

yes you can replace the white plastic track but it is a fiddly job. It's much easier to replace the entire antenna unit, though costs about 3 times as much.
Depends how handy you are with tools really, the front left quarter panel needs to come pretty much all the way off which is also a fiddly job.

The guard doesn't have to come off at all.
Just the wheel well liner and the kick panel inside.

Inside track is good.
There is a faint clicking when it power up the down power conector.
Must be the little electronic box/relay thing that is no good.

Worth repairing at all?

Thanks

Probably not worth stuffing around with unless it's the plastic track that makes it go up and down.
