Ls1 Fan Setup

Has anybody removed the standard ls1 thermo fans??

Looking at tidying up engine bay and think the big bulky fan setup looks a bit untidy would much rather 2 12" fans on radiator.

Anybody done this or have advice?

I wouldn't touch them, they are suited to the car and you may run into over heating issues.

Can the 2 x 12's pull as much air as the stock fans?

I have checked flow rating and can't seem to find CFM of standard fans to match them.

But is fans only work in traffic or stations I can't see how it would make any differance?

only one of the fans is for the radiator,the other is for the a/c as far as I know

Mmmm sure one 12" fan would flow enough to cool it let alone two
