Parking lights staying on even after ignition is off.

hi,
I have recently charge my stereo head in my VS acclaim. After installing the new head I plug the battery back in and the parker lights have turn on (as well as the dash lights). This is still happening even when the parking light dial is in the off position and the car is off. The only way I can turn them off is by unplugging the battery again. I checked the fuses and none of them have blown ??? , could someone please give me some advise?

reverse this process if that's the only thing that's changed then you've stuffed something up wiring in the stereo.

You could be feeding power back through the illumination wire from the H/U some how.
As mpower said, reverse the procedure.
If you can, disconnect each wire separately and see which one fixes your problem.
