Short.........somewhere

Hey guys,wondering if someone can help me. It started out as,when I put the headlights on the red light bulb came up in the dash and when I put my foot on the brake it would go off,but now it just stays on and now has progressed to the stage where now it comes on when I put my foot on the brake whilst the headlights are off. Any help would be appreciated,i know its a short but where has me a little stumped. Cheers

You have a blown brake and tail light globe, or number plate light or a bad connection.

If the bulb warning light comes on when you turn the lights on, blown tail light or number plate light.
If it comes on when you brake, blown brake light.
If it is on all the time, brake and tail or number plate.
If you have replaced bulbs with LEDs this can also cause and issue.

Thanks mate,checked to see if it was tail lights,they were good,number plate light is good. Didnt check brake lights.............der,hahahaha
