Hey guys,

As some of you may know im just about done my rebuild on my motor.

I Have the TPS sensor off the 4 barrel throttle body with 3 pins, and the original one also has 3 pins but they have different plugs. Plugs aren't really a concern.

What i cant figure out is what pin does one, im getting a totally different readings no matter what option my meter is on or combination with the leads on the multi meter or if im turning the TPS.

Where could i get a TPS with the same plug and mounting shape or any information would really help!

Is there any reason you cant get a genuine TPS?

The genuine one won't fit, the plastic moulding interferes with the throttle body and the white plastic insert parts are different shape and size

The Pins should be labeled A B C, sometimes they aren't but if you look closely and see the letters that might help with your resistance testing to compare the 2.

Else i cant offer any other advice, maybe speak to the throttle body manufacturer and see what they normally do.

Hey,

Sorry for late reply, i ended up changing throttle bodys to a EFI hardware one and, ended up using a ecotec v6 one as they read the same but spin opposite directions and fits strait onto the new throttle body. Also the stock IAC valve bolts strait on too,

Thanks everyone for the help!
