Power windows on the fritz
So I drive a vt v6 and it seems that time of the year has come again when my car racks up a list of faults..
The power windows stopped working, now it picks the worst times (driving home from work and it was about to rain) anyways got the shits because I checked the fuse and it was fine so I have the centre control a smack and they worked just enough to get the windows up. Prior to this te rear windows were incredibly slow up and down and sometimes wouldn't work at all but the fronts did, but we're a tad slow going up. Could this be faulty switches or the regulator or?...
Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Dirty switch contacts most likely cause.

Wires in door hinge may be breaking also can explain slow windows in the rear.

replace the center power window switch assembly. you can get them on ebay. they wear out as they have plastic rocker mechanisms.
