VS Aircon fuse keeps blowing

My VS ute keeps blowing the A/C fuse after a few seconds. I have replaced the fuse and it works the fan motors all ok but as soon as you hit the A/C button it blows. I have disconnected the power wire to the A/C compressor and it still blows, disconnected the plug on the receiver dryer and it still pops when the A/C button is on..Cant see any problem with the harness, as far as I can see.. Anyone come across this before or can point me in the right direction?? Cheers

You obviously have a short some where.
With out checking the whole A/C harness first,
the A/C relay may be faulty.

Is the fuse the correct fuse?
If it is too low then it will keep blowing.
A/C uses a lot of power and if it is the wrong fuse then it will keep blowing

can also be your switch failing .
