I am wiring up a brake vacuum pump. I want to power it with 12V that comes on with the ignition via a relay. The pump will sit up under the drivers guard toward the front.

Can anybody suggest where I can easily pick up the 2 x 12V I need.

The battery is in the boot, comes up to the starter, then there is a main feed around to the fuse box in the bay. I guess I can pick up off this for the main 12V feed? But where can I pick up the ignition switched 12V for the relay?

You could take the power for the switching side of the NEW relay from the EFI relay, either from the switching side or the output.

You can pinch power from before the fuse rail near the fusebox in the engine bay and you'd be better off putting a new fuse in for the pump too. If you don't have foglights there will be an empty place in the relay rail where you could hook up your new relay too
