Sticking Aerial

I noticed my aerial sticking last night. When it goes from cd to stereo it ticks loud quickly but wouldn't raise. I managed to get it to raise up but when it goes down it clicks briefly when it seats it self. Is there anything to correct this?

try some silicon spray on the aerial when its up to lubricate it .
