Connect the positive side to the existing interior light wiring and the negative side to the door switch.

Someone here might have a wiring diagram to scan for you so it might make it easier to locate the wire you need.

I've done what your talking about. Twas a bit of a pain in the ass at first but it got there. To connect the wires i took out the ceiling light and the four screws that were holding in the piece around it and then fed a coat hanger through the ceiling and down the pillar that runs down between the driver seat and the driver side rear passenger seat (because i wasn't able to find the wires down anywhere else, probably a bit too lazy to investigate it further at the time). If you take the kick panelly plastic skirting stuff (can't remember proper name) that runs down the floor from the front to back inside on both sides you'll probably be able to find the wires for the ceiling light in the big bunch of wires there. Anyways tell us how ya go and give a buzz if you need more help.

i spliced into the interior light through the headlight swith on the dash. ran the wires past the fuse's under the steering wheel, put 2 blue neons under driver and passenger dash. looks great.think its the same as brycestro said but shitloads easier (probably wrong though... i had no idea wat i was doing).

lol nice work mate. I never even thought to trace the roof light wiring from the dash switch! Yeah i definitely think there would have been easier places i could have attached the wires from, but at the time i was even more useless than i am now, so i thought it'd be best if i attacked it straight at the source :P. Cheers mate, good to see you got em up and running.

the easiest thing i found was finding an active wire anywhere and using scotch locks to connect the wires. mounting them i just used a little bit silicon

I have a neon in the boot with my subs, i connected it to the remote and ground terminals on one of my amps so it comes on when the amps come on.
