problems with stereo wiring

g'day everyone...i have just removed the factory double din stereo from my new VY and i am installing a Pioneer DEH-P7750MP (which i was using in my VT with no probs) however, i have followd the wiring instructions from another thread/forum but i cant get the deck to even power up...im hoping someone can tell me exactly where each wire should be attached to...The speaker wires are fine, no problem there...sooooo could someone please tell me which colour wire (on the car - vy commodore) should be attached the the battery wire from the deck, the accessory wire, the mute, the illumination, etc as i cant seem to figure it out and dont want to play around too much because i dont wanna stuff anything up....THANKYOU VERY MUCH, YOU'VE BEEN A MASSIVE HELP

same problem here!!! i just took out the eurovox head unit and replaced it with a pioneer DEH - 2750mp.... NOTHING!!! i connected it using those loom connectors you buy and they all fit in fine.... weirdest thing is my car wont even start now! headlight and dash lights are all sweet, i even put the eurovox back in and that is fine.... any ideas?? im desperate and i hav nobody to try n jump - start my car right now... any help will do im willing to try anything

just got it looked at by the auto electrician. the reason the car wouldnt start was the immobilzer box thingy had a crack it it, the reason the head-unit wouldnt start up is because one of the harnesses was faulty!
