I have no idea about power requirements, earthing of different things in the engine bay. What is the best way to make sure all earth wires are correctly grounded or require a clean up?![]()
If you're not having problems then you probably don't need to worry about it. If you wanted, you could unbolt the engine block earth cable, file the terminal a little bit and put it back on. Do the same to the chassis cable if you have one. Make sure the battery terminals are half decent and replace any wiring that is badly frayed or taped up with dodgy electrical tape. Check inline nylon connectors for terminal rust, file them up if nessesary. And avoid using electrical tape unless it's really nessesary. I hate the crap and it is done by dodgy backyard mechaincs plus it isn't tidy. Use heatshrink tubing instead.
nothing like tape gone soft with solvents/oil and is all takky or on the other hand all dried up and falling apart and keeps ripping when you want to pull it off,
Cheers for heatshrink!!
