Im still not 100% sure what your on about. What colours are they.
Because its a Calais option, I think there will be something on the other end that needs to be pluged into, but it might not even be there
the wires colours are one is red and one is white

Check the attachment, Might have to save to your computer then view it, took it straight from my dad's gregories, he has a vt calais, the lower spec VT is left side, the Calais spec is right side, Low/High series diagrams
I highlighted all things to take note of
Hope it helps a bit.

I have an idea man, Patch onto the wires from your interior light.......
EG: Find a constant 12v+ and wire the positive of the lights to that, Then for the negative, u know that switch that opens/closes when doors open /closed, bridge the negative- wire off that, that's what creates the circuit... If you pull off your sill panels both sides, follow the wires. Works out a bit more fiddly, But cheaper than getting a Calais BCM.

If you check that connector again with a multimeter you will probabl find that one is wired into the door switch. Using the "continuity" setting on your multimeter, put one lead to earth and the other on one of the plugs in the door. It shouldn beep at you until you push the door button back. Tap the earth wire from the lights into that and hey presto. Similar to what mat suggested but keeps all you wiring in the door.
You put you left foot in, your put your right foot in , you take your left foot out and you slide it all about!
Sorry i havnt been on 4 a couple of days but those ideas are smart as i ll give them ago tomorrow and let every1 know how it went

I treid the same thing with the same results, reason being the loom in the doors is Calais but where it mates to the body is Berlina, you are missing the power wire and the second door sense wire, easiest way to get around this is to tap into the positive side of the glove box light and connect that to the positive side of the door loom light. Also the Calais has a 2 pole door switch whereas the rest have a single pole, not a biggie but if you opt to tap into the single wiring all the door lights will come on when any of them are open (excluding drivers - runs off a different circuit), otherwise get the 2 pole switches and connect the 2nd pole to the -ve side of the light. Hope this helps.
PS Use the glovebox light for power as this one is controlled by the BCM and if you accidently leave your interior light on or a door open it wont flatten your battery eventually as the BCM will switch it off.
I have just wired up all the courtesy lights on my VX Berlina! It's totally doing my head in!!!
So I took the standard door looms out and replaced them with Calais ones so I have the extra plugs. I ran the orange (+ve) wires to a constant power source and the white (-ve) to the door pins which control the interior light on/off when the door is open/closed.
Now the drivers one works perfectly!!! However the RHR, LHR and LHF all come on and off together no matter which door you open (excluding the drivers)
I realise now that the drivers door is on it's own circuit and this is the reason why but how the bloody hell do I get around the others? What is the best and easiest way to do it so they function individually/correctly!
Your help is much appreciated...I've been working on it for three days it's doing my head in to the point where I'm
About to stick the test light in my eye!!!

I know the threads dead but i'm about to do this and was just wondering how you got it to work?
