Earthing Issue Maybe?

I have a problem with a whining fuel pump in my VL.

A Common problem i know and the call from some might be "Just Change the Pump"

And i would, except the whining is not always there and i have a couple of other wierd things happening.

When i turn my indicators on, the whining in the fuel pump goes along in time to the indicator clicking.

When i dip the headlights or turn them on and off i get a change in the "tone" of the fuel pump

And when i turn my headlights off with my heater going the heater kicks in even faster.


Could this be a wierd earth leak somewhere or something common?

Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated

sounds like a bad earth. Dont know where though.I would check the earth on the pump and the one on the heater first.
