The fog lights on my 2001 VU II SS Ute are useless as I rarely encounter fog and to use them otherwise may cost me a fine.

I wonder if they can be converted to driving lights.

I understand that the wiring will have to change so that they only come on with high beam, but what sort of driving lights, if any, will fit in place of the fog lights?

Has anyone else tried this?
