    Default VS V8 wiring(by-passing alot)

    time to pick some brains.
ok i have a vs 5.0l i am putting this engine into my VL cutting to the chase:
efi removed due to no ecu or ign module and i want to b different (i do have the efi harness) = straight gas
What i need to know is: using the vs dizzy without ign module?can it be done by running it like an older 2 wire dizzy?if so how can i wire this up? i still have all the engine plugs.
so in effect i wish to run this motor bare basic and carbie like only with throttle body and gas mixer(lpg not an issue as i fit lpg)

the first thing i would do is find a dizzy. preferably an electronic one out of a vh vk era motor. Then get a wireing diagram for it and wire it into your harness.
the wireing shouldnt be too hard to do. you need a switched +ve supply to your coil, it should already be in your harness. then you need the other wire from the coil that goes to the dizzy.
its been a while since i mucked around with dizzys from those sort of cars so i dont know exactly what you need.
    cheers shane
