Default Central Locking on a vp

i hav a 2 vp's. one is unregistered and auto etc.. and the other is manual and registered but has a massiv bottom end knock

the engine is being swapped but the central locking and immobiliser doesnt work in the registered one and i dont even have the remote for it... but i have the remote and it works perfectly on the unregistered one.. is there any way i can swap it over to the registered one?

i heard its the bcm (body control module) but i dont know where this is located or if it is even that that i am meant to change

could someone please help me out!!!

Its under the dash above the glove box. Its in there pretty good with cable ties and what not but it may be accessabel without a dash removal. Worse case senario is that you have to take the dash out to get to it.. not that hard really.
