Default VY fog light problem

I have a problem with my lights going dim when i turn on the fog lights, they still work they just go dim (as seen in the pics) I was thinking of running a wire from the negative to the battery to try and fix this. Any thoughts? I think its a earthing problem.

I agree - you're most likely dealing with a flaky earth. Buggered if I know where you'd start looking though!

If all else fails running a new earth to the battery should get you out of strife, but I don't think I'd bother running it all the way to the battery - just to a good solid metal area on the chassis.

Best of luck!

Would grab a multimeter first and track down exactly what the problem is. Two measurements and you are half way to knowing what it is. Get one (if you dont have one you can pick them up from just about anywhere for under $20) and let us know. We can tell you what to check.
