Default VS Drivers Electric Window Saga...

Just replaced a broken window regulator...

Yes, i drilled out the rivets, replaced them with small bolts...

i've installed it as per the gregories manual, and made sure it was sitting correctly in the guides at the front and rear of the door...

my problem...

the window doesnt go up properly... it kind of "walks" up... bout half way up, the window comes laterally out of the rear guide... and when it comes back in... and reaches the top, it does go all the way up at the front of the window (near the side mirror) it leaves about 4-5mm to go...

i can grab the window and pull it backwards and it can be "persuaded" to sit right... but it wont do it on its own accord?

anyone had this happen before?

how can i fix it?

been thru all that... the first time i tried to install it... and yeah, didnt put it in the guides (in the felt guides) properly... but re-installed it after aligning the rubber/felt guides properly...

i think it just needs to be run up and down a few times, maybe some CRC808 silicone spray? hmmmmm.....

well it could be the regulator then it might have a slight bend or kink in the runner or something i replaced 1 at work today it had a realy small bend in it and that caused it to run weird
