V8 alternator Q. VN-VR

Is it possible to fit a VN V8 alternator onto a VR V8?

The VN item has a 2 pin plug set up which goes onto the reg.
The VR item has no provision for this. There are 2 wires with bolt on connections on the VR item. 1 large [main power to battery] & 1 small.

Does anyone have an idea?

Never mind, i've figured it out.

Just in case someone else needs to do this:
The 2 pins on the VN alt are labled 'L' & 'S'.
The 'L' terminal is the 'light' terminal. Connect the small connection to this.
The 'S' terminal is the 'switch' terminal. Run a wire from this to switchable power.
Note: switchable power, not constant power.
