Default head light problem! help!!

hi, i'v had headlight problems for awhile, first i only had 1 low beam light working, now both low beams arn't working. Parkers work, high beams work. but not low beams. I have checked the fuse's and yes the black box fuse. Iv changed over fuse's no help. How can you tell if the black fuse's are blown? Am i missing something? please help.

Cheers
Alan

being that they stopped working one at a time, have you checked the actual globes? the fuses are usually paired, so if the fuse goes, both lights will go at once.

I think the "black" fuses your talking about are actually relays. easiest way to test if its the prob is to swap it with a known working one, such as the horn relay. You really need to check if power is getting to the globes using a multimeter. If theres no problem there then most likely blown globes as said.

If any light stops working, the first thing you should do is check the globe. If the light in your lounge room stopped working you would naturally check or replace the globe, same thing in a car. If more than one light stops working at a time, then start looking at fuses, relays, switches, wiring, etc.
