Default vs light problem

hey i own a vs and have a lighting problem with lights and tailights

when i put my foot on brakes dashlights and headlights come on lol

and when i put headlights on brakelights dont work

could it be bad wiring, bad earth or wires fused together somewhere or something ?

thx

Thats a tricky one. You really need a wiring diagram and multimeter to sort that one out. I would help but something is really wrong there and there are just too many places to start. Maybe one for an auto electrician.

most probably the tail light earth points in the boot happens all the time or a single filament bulb in a 2 filament holder.

blown globe in the rear mate, same thing was happening when i first bought my car. whats happening is the rear globe has 2 filaments in it, the brake light filament has blown and it is touching the parklight filament so when use your brakes, power is fed to anything that would light up normally when you turn your park lights on
