    Question shift light

    i am trying to install an autometer shift light to my vy storm. i need help with conecting it to my ECU witch wire is the tacho output wire from the ECU

    It's on the back of the dash. Use a multimeter on the wires and rev the motor, find which one climbs in voltage as your engine goes faster.

    thats great vic you know sometimes it pays to ask again in a better location. you may get a better answer.

    you may but generally when something is answered correctly its a waste of time to get the same correct answer! in here specially, same people answer the same questions.
    anyway just my thoughts no stress as long as the problem is solved i guess who cares how many times someone asks.

    found it near the ECU. Brown wire like the other thread said. Checked it with a volt meter, The voltage went up as RPM increased.
    Behind the kick panel were the ECU is, Large whit plug just above the ECU next to the glove box. thanks for the help
