Rear speaker no work.

Hi all,

I know this is probably a simple question, but my left rear door speaker doesn't work. I think it's probably a wire off at the speaker due to the opening and closing of the door, but has anyone else had this problem? If so, where do you reckon the most likely place is to start looking?

If not directly behind the speaker check in the door jam. Behind the head unit is your next best option it may not have been connected properly and has come loose

Hi Roh,

It all depends on how your rear speaker is hooked up. Assuming it's to the head unit, be sure the connections are ok. Firstly try that channel on a different speaker. If it works, check the connection at the speaker end of the wire at the rear speaker in question. If that still doesn't work, try using a different wire. Also make sure on the headunit you don't have it faded/balanced everywhere except that speaker!
Now, if it's on the Amp, do a test exactly as above. You may have blown a channel.
All that failing, try a new speaker, that one may just be shagged. Hope it helps. PM if it's too hard to understand.
