Hey mate,

Just on the mail order tune, until i can re-afford the mods i spoke to you about, is it worth going a mail order? Y Series 1 HSV auto, what sort of power figures would it take to, advantages/disadvantages etc? Also with Valet mode included if possible.

It is only a temporary thing as i'd really like to follow through with what we spoke about, but until the Minister of War and Finances is ready to hand over the $$ i need a quick alternative.

A mailorder tune is ideal for customers in your situation until funds are available to spend on modifications.

Depending on exhaust system, air induction etc....will depend on your power outputs. But its not all about peak power figures, its more about throttle response, mid range power and torque, transmission shift calibrations and fuel economy.

Approx 20rwkw gain on a mailorder tune, this will also allow u to fit a OTRCAI as it will be MAFLESS, so once again theres another advantage.

Customers comments after a tune, are normally why did i put up with the holden/HSV tune for so long.

that's an awesome price 'enhancedss', i'm assuming u'd send instructions on how to change the pcm over!! what sort of OTRCAI set up do u do for a VY2 clubby...or depending on cost factor, can i just simply for now get an maf pipe extension to replace the MAF and keep the standard GTS air box.

would it ned a re-tune if i then later on fit an OTR....?

All Mailorder MAFLESS Tunes do factor in for a OTRACI, and any type of exhaust system fitted to the vehicle.

A Maf pipe extension can be used, as a form of air induction.

Full benfits are noticed with a OTRCAI.
