There is currently a hold up on the PCM's whilst i wait for the change over units, hopefully the next lot will be ready for shipment on friday, im sorry about the slight delay, if in desperate need for your mailorder tune and can handle the car being of the road for a day or 2 just simply send your original PCM over.

Yes it does come with instructions...........

anyone, that can use a rachet and socket and a screw driver will be able to change the PCM over.

It takes me approx 30 seconds to change over a PCM (but ive changed approx 100 PCM's on LS1 before, for someone that has never attempted to change a PCM before, it will take approx 15 minutes.

So if u have a 7mm socket, ratchet, flat head screwdriver, and can read the instructions, u wont have a drama.

hey brad, how much will it cost me for a mail order tune, i'd send my pcm over to get tuned then sent back? (rather have my own pcm used, personal preferance), but it would be in the new year, with a twin 2.5" system (would send specs of headers etc) and a cai, can you do a mafless tune to my pcm if i decide to put a otrcai on? or only maf tunes without the car being present? and if you can, what deal could you do for the otrcai and mafless tune to my pcm?

as i dont do MAF tunes, all my tunes are MAFLESS, i dont see why u are u so worried about your own pcm, as ive probably got PCM's with less km's than whats on the car anyway, like ive just purchased 5 new PCM's for change over units from the states.

Your not actually buying a reconditioned PCM at all, its simply ease for you the customer, so it can be sent over, u install the pcm, and send your original pcm back and recieve your deposit. So your vehicle is only of the road for 15 minutes.

1 year warrenty on PCM's, i could even offer a 3 year warrenty on a PCM for failure, they simply dont fail.

Will depend on exhaust system, air intake, auto/manual.

ive had mailorder tunes produce 255rwkw. its depends on engine condition, but the critical key is in the exhaust system. Do your research on exhaust system combinations and it will reak the rewards when it comes to power figures.

1 3/4 4 into 1's
standard cats with 2.5" pipes, high flow cats doesnt seem to make a difference at this power level.
either a single 3.5" sureflow loud version
or twin 2.5" with quality mufflers eg magnaflow.....and 2 hot dogs at the rear.
or twin 3" x-force cat back, slightly less power when engine unopened, but get better benefits with modified engines, eg cams & heads.

These combinations seem to bag the most torque and horsepower than other combinations.

For any of you LS1 guys looking at these mail order tunes, i personally highly recommend Brads tunes.

I installed the new PCM in the Senator this afternoon(50 minutes work). After the VT i had forgotten the difference the tunes make. It is like a new car, everything is set perfectly.

While they are cheap, take the leap and do it, cheapest performance mod you will get by far.
