Hey I been going out with a my new lady for 6 months now. between me and her we havnt had ANY hassles at all….but her kid (15 years old!!!) sulks everytime we organise anything. I mean anything. He sulks from the minute we are all together till the minute he gets home alone with his mum. He follows us around the house, the garden, the garage, he wont bloody leave us alone for 2 seconds out of his sight.

On the weekend we went mountain bike riding AND jetskiing all in perfect weather conditions. Me and his mum had a great time, except he sulked every minute until the second he got home, then he snapped out of it. his mum asked why he is so happy all of a sudden…and his words were……

I GOT NO COMPETITION NOW!

What the hell do you do in this situation?

Good Afternoon everyone,

Been fixing up my sound system the past couple days and at the moment I'm running a 15inch pioneer subwoofer.

What i want to know is, how do i wire so only bass and treble come out of it. Because at the moment its pretty much working as a normal speaker.

Thanks

Last week was my birthday and I didn't feel very well waking up that morning. I went downstairs for breakfast hoping my wife would be pleasant and say, "Happy birthday!", and possibly have a present for me.

As it turned out, she barely said good morning, let alone "Happy birthday".

I thought... well, that's marriage for you, but the kids will remember. My kids ate breakfast and didn't say a word.

So when I left for the office, I was feeling pretty low and somewhat despondent.

As I walked into my office, my secretary, Jane said, "Good morning boss, happy birthday!" It felt a little better that at least someone had remembered.

I worked until one o'clock and then Jane knocked on my door and said, "You know, it's such a beautiful day outside, and it's your birthday, let's go out to lunch, just you and me".

I said, "Thanks Jane, that's the greatest thing I've heard all day. Let's go!"

We went to lunch. But we didn't go where we normally would go. We dined instead at a little place with a private table. We had two martinis each and I enjoyed the meal tremendously.

On the way back to the office, Jane said, "You know, it's such a beautiful day... We don't need to go back to the office, do we?"

I responded, "I guess not. What do you have in mind?"
She said, "Let's go to my apartment".

After arriving at her apartment Jane turned to me and said, "Boss, if you don't mind, I'm going to step into the bedroom for a moment. I'll be right back".

"OK", I nervously replied.
She went into the bedroom and, after a couple of minutes, she came out carrying a huge birthday cake... followed by my wife, kids, and dozens of my friends and co-workers, all singing "Happy Birthday".
And I just sat there...

On the couch...

Naked...

I'm thinking, when my lease on the WK Caprice expires I may get another Holden over a BMW/Audi.

So this got me thinking... is there any benifit in getting a Calais V (VE) over a Statesman (WM)? Reason I ask is because pre-owned, but go for about the same price.

I dont think I need another Caprice as the DVD players are never used and I could live without memory seats.

Hey guys.
A friend said its the Surge Pump causing this, another said may be the Fuel pump, and yet another friend said it may be something in my tank... but none of them own a VN so I just wanted a second opinion.
When my VN has less than half a tank of petrol it begins to run rough, and even sometimes stall when i sit at the lights for 30+ seconds...
When fuel is full runs like a dream.
I'm getting her serviced and 'tuned' this Thursday. Which may help as it runs a little rough anyway. But its considerably a lot worse when petrol is low.
Also after I've been on a long drive (and petrol is low) once I park, and turn her off. There is a. long stretched out...squeal?...Squeal doesnt describe it very well, but its a high pitched whine coming from near my fuel tank at the back of the car...this goes on for about 10 seconds. Though it doesnt happen EVERY time, only days it seems to be running rougher than usual.

Any suggestions on what it may be?
Thanks guys

Hey guys, i recently posted about some problems ive had with my trans since having it serviced. Its still not shifting automatically into 2nd when the the shifter is in 1st but now i am having some more trouble. Between 2nd and 3rd and 3rd and 4th sometimes theres delay before it hits the next gear, its like the car is going into neutral the revs pick up to nearly 4000rpm and then it hits gear. It doesnt do it every shift or when under heavy accerleration which seems weird. Ive taken it to my local holden shop and they hooked it up to a computer but it wasnt coming up with any codes or logging any slips when shifting. The guy said if it keeps doing it to bring it back and take him for a drive and show him what it does. Has anyone else experianced similar problems???
