Hey guys,

Posting a thread about exhausts to see what everyone reckons. Its moreso for a bit of help, and to get some opinions.

Putting an exhaust system on an E1 Clubsport, and not quite sure what to use. I've heard so many different things, from performance places, exhaust places, wholesalers, car savvy friends, and everyone seems to think so many different things. Basically i just wanting some opinions from people who know about exhausts and people who've got exhausts and to hear there opinion.

Don't really want to use X-Force as they are chinese i believe, and i've heard a fair few average sounding cars with X-Force systems on them.

Manta i believe are very good quality, but after doing some work at a performance shop that only use them, i was quickly turned off them by the sound. To me, they sounded too much like they were trying to be a V8 supercar, or a race car. I found they aren't deep, throaty, or like a real V8. Loud and not at all tinny, but i found they just weren't nearly deep enough or "V8-ish".

Heard mixed about Di Filippo, they are one of the brands im leaning towards. I believe they are a bit deeper, and seem to be from cars i've heard. But i believe these are a little more expensive in general.

As far as i know Pacemaker are great quality, but again i've found they seem a little bit tinny (but thats only hearing a few, so im not totally sure about them).

Haven't heard much about KPM, but heard they are quite good?

Or, is it worth going for a custom system? I've heard an E1 (but with an LS3, as oppose to LS2) that had straight through pipes to the rear mufflers, and that sounded quite nice.

I'm mainly wanting this for the sound, not going berserk with any mods, just want it sounding nice.

Thanks guys, opinions and help will be greatly appreciated.

I already have a head deck and two 6". They are: XS-GTF1627 and CDX GT600UI. Anything that could be bought preferably through supercheap would be easiest and most cost efficient for me. Im hoping for something with half-decent quality that will suffice until later down the track. Any ideas? Cheers
